Datascan has full IVR (interactive voice response) setup for your pharmacy. The IVR system, interfaces with your telephone system and our pharmacy software. The system allows you to maximize efficiency by minimizing time spent on the phone with doctors or patients getting refill information. The system can also notify patients if they have no more refills and request permission to fax the doctor for a refill authorization. The system runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We handle full installation and support of the IVR. Customers call into your store, and through the automated attendant, have the ability to enter in their RX number for refill. It saves the pharmacist and technicians time away from such phone calls, and it sends the refill to our pharmacy system queue to be filled. This, like the E-scripts, will notify you there are refills to be processed, and will be listed in a menu where you choose what RX you want to fill. The information is automatically in our system, and a few key strokes later the refill is processed.
